Wedding ~ Walter + Anna

This is my last late post from 2009! Woooohooooo!!! :)   November 30th was an extremely cold day, I remember that, in which I had the opportunity to 2nd shoot with Erin Fults . This has to be my favorite wedding yet, simply because I am artsy fartsy and absolutely adored all the unique little details that made this wedding celebration. As you'll see it wasn't your traditional wedding in more ways than one... they were married at the Agricultural Museum in Jackson, Mississippi for one thing, and...well, I won't spoil the fun, you'll see all the fun uniqueness for yourself. I could spend days going on and on about all of the intricate details and unique touches that Anna created on their special day. This post doesn't go into the reception details, but they were so amazing, Erin did a separate post on some of the fabulous intricate details that made this wedding one of a kind. Lott + Prendez ~ Married

Catching up seems to be the theme for this month! Embarrassment was two weeks ago. At this point I've let that go and now it's sheer determination to get caught up in order to feel freedom to post WHATEVER I want! ha! So get ready! ;) On December 8th of last year (I know, I know, scold away) I had the privilege of 2nd shooting Ashley and Jonathan's wedding with the very talented photographer, Erin Fults . To see more of the 'official' gorgeous images that Erin got on that wintry day, click here . I remember it was a crisp and chilly winters day, and it was a perfect day for a wedding. There was even a slight remnant of snow left on the ground from the last recent and unexpected Mississippi snows of 2009. What Mississippi bride wouldn't love to have a lil snow on the ground on her wedding day?! Trust me it's rare!  The Methodist Church in Clinton, Mississippi was decorated elegantly and the couple was as laid back as any other Saturday afternoon. This particu...

Mad Skillz Momma

My Momma sent these pics to me this morning from Mexico. She's a creative quilter and just started her new project while on holiday break from language school. Creativity is always a great mental holiday for an overworked brain! She showed me these adorable lil flowers that she is making on Skype Sunday night and I fell in love! They are absolutely the cutest things ever! It takes her a super long time to do each one...she's so talented, gifted, and patient! A ll I have to say is my Momma has serious mad quiliting skillz! Phssssssh!, and I wonder where I get my creativity from! HELLO?!?! Duh! I love you Momma and I love seeing your creativity at work again! It actually makes me want to get out the paints! ;) Love you so much! Thank you for passing on some creativeness to me! Aren't they adorable?!?!?! Love these cheery lil flowers!

Beautiful Box Boys ~ Tennessee

This weekend I had the privilege of chasing around my two favorite 2nd cousins. Yes, maybe I am just a tad bit biased... but just wait until you see these handsome lil men and big bright blue eyes! You will be just as much in love with them as I am! They're irresistible!  Saturday turned into the most gorgeous, partly cloudy, warm spring day... a photographer's dream, really! We loaded both boys up, pimped out in Baby Gap, and looking fly and headed to the Pink Palace in Memphis. It's a children's museum, but the landscaped grounds and the architecture in the front were perfect for a children's session. We strolled to the front and let em loose! In all honesty, I was surprised at how many good shots we got, because I literally chased baby C and big C around all day long! Me and their mom worked so hard trying to get their attention and after 2 hours we FINALLY gave up and just let them do their thing... and this is what we got. After the session we stopped by a pla...
