Lil' Speedy Sanders

I would like to take time just to thank The Harrison family for allowing us to tromp all over their beautifully landscaped yard! It's a photographer's dream...there are so many gorgeous flowers, cute spots, adorable niches, picket fences, relaxing swings, etc.... truly a photographer's dream! Thank you Mrs. JoAnne and Mr. Lester for your sweet hospitality!
I would like to introduce to you Lil' 'Speedy Gonzalez' Sanders!!! And when I say speedy, that is an understatement. :) This handsome lil' 2 year old boy is full of life, energy, and is all boy!!! He gave me a run for my money and kept me on my toes and the creative juices flowing in order to get shots of his face! haha! As you can see, the image below, shows exactly how active lil' speedy is! 
He was on the move all day long! Active is a total understatement!
There's those pretty blue eyes! Isn't he a handsome lil thang! :)
Yeh......he wasn't too sure about me at first. I could see behind those pretty blue eyes that he was completely unsure about my camera, and even more unsure about the person behind the camera.

There's that adorably handsome smile! :)
Acorn hats are the BEST!!!

Mommy is sooo much fun... actually more like amazing! She has around 9 weeks left before her 2nd son arrives. I honestly don't know how she does it with this lil' munchkin keeping her on her toes.
The corduroy jacket was the cutest thing ever! So handsome! 

He hit a little G.Q. down time... and I LOVED IT!!!
What 2 year old boy doesn't love a water fountain in a gold fish pond?!
Being barefoot couldn't even slow him down! I just love lil' itty bitty feet, they're just so cute! And as we all know, they don't stay cute and itty bitty for long! ;)

Relaxing & swinging with mommy! Mommy and son #2 loved this spot...could've stayed here all day!

Such a sweet moment! But that was it... a moment! Then he was off again, back to play in the water.

My favorite shot of the day: He adored this car! Any free minute he got, he bolted like a barn struck horse back to his favorite toy, the Flinstone car... I love pictures that capture and portray the exact phase of life that children are in. This phase is Flinstone car phase! Love it!
After a long hard photo session and fun in the sun, the lil' man was thirsty! Parched actually! 
Thank you Sanders for letting me be a part of your lives! I love re-connecting and watching children grow. It's amazing how fast time flies by. Ya turn around twice and he's running around faster than I can keep up... next he'll be posing and giving me cool looks. I can't wait! :)

Princess I looked for these before I went to bed last night and they weren't yet there. I was so excited this morning and am literally stunned. I think these are the best ones yet!!! I don't know how you do it but i am Praising the Lord for the eye that He has given you. They are amazing!!

Beautiful Brock Bunch ~ Family + Children Portraiture

I woke up early Friday morning, and instead of going to work as usual, I headed to Mynelle Gardens in Jackson with a big cheesy grin on my face! It was cloudy, like as in thick, perfect, harsh sun filtering clouds; it was cool, and it was a perfect day for a family photo session with the Brocks.  I first met the Brocks at Redeemer, where we attend church. They were the very first family to invite me over for lunch and make me feel welcome, like a part of theirs. We hit it off like we had known each other for years, and they have graciously tolerated me as a family appendage ever since. Engagement ~ Trey + Jennifer

This past Saturday was a gorgeous overcast day in the park. The winds rushed by us sweeping hair and causing chill bumps but Jennifer and Trey were champs and stuck it out all three hours with me! Y'all are the best!!! I met Jennifer a couple months ago and she's sweet like some home made chocolate cake! She is so adorable and what I would classify as a true southern belle! This past Saturday afternoon I had the privilege of meeting the man that makes her smile. It took Trey a hot second to warm up to me and my 'all up in his face' camera, but once he got comfy, it was all she wrote.  They are so in love it oozes from them in every way, with every look, touch, kiss, and hug. I almost had to stop mid-session to clean my lens the love was so thick! ;) His quiet steady personality anchors her outgoing fun sassiness.
